If you have just one, or a few things that you’re curious about, and it’s not quite enough material for a home visit, please feel free to email us a quality photograph of the front and back of your artwork, and for a flat fee of $100 per item we will send you a professional informational appraisal that’s sufficient for insurance coverage and charitable donation purposes. Qualified professional appraisers are required to comply with the current standards in appraisal report writing as set forth by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

Brickley & Co. was founded by Shawna Brickley-Rodgers in 2017, after nearly 20 years of experience as a specialist in the fine art auction field. While in graduate school Shawna held a post at Skinner Auctioneers, Boston, where she grew passionate about auction culture.
Inspired by the exchange of ideas, the influx of material, and the wonderful opportunity to learn about art, rare books, and antiques from an academic community of friendly, highly specialized and passionate art historians, she envisioned forming a consortium of specialists to offer personalized services and expertly researched information to individuals in a non stressful, accessible and approachable environment. In home inventory visits start at $250. Once we have the scope of the job, and the services you require, we’ll then establish an hourly rate based on the parameters of the project and the nature of the appraisal purpose. Large or small, we can help.
